My Plan

Sequencing matters. Skeletal work precedes soft-tissue refinement, and rhinoplasty is generally staged after any jaw movement. Map your intentions here, then take the plan to a surgeon who will tell you what is actually possible.

Sequencing principles

  • Skeletal foundation first: orthognathic and other bony work changes the soft-tissue envelope that later procedures refine.
  • Rhinoplasty after maxillary movement — a Le Fort I alters nasal base position and tip rotation.
  • Allow full soft-tissue settling (typically 9–12 months after skeletal surgery) before judging the need for refinement.
  • Hair restoration and facial implants are usually independent of the skeletal sequence and can be staged flexibly.
  • Combining procedures reduces total anaesthesia exposure and downtime, but increases single-session risk. Your surgeon decides what is safe to combine.
