Consultation Terms & Client Acknowledgement Agreement
Read this agreement in full before booking. Accepting it is a condition of scheduling a Dark Aesthetics consultation.
Information on this platform is for educational purposes and should not replace consultation with a qualified medical professional. Surgical suitability, risks, and expected outcomes must be assessed by an appropriately qualified surgeon.
1. Nature of the service
Dark Aesthetics provides educational and informational consultation services relating to facial aesthetics, procedure research, and consultation preparation.
Consultations are research and planning sessions. They do not constitute the practice of medicine, dentistry, surgery, psychology, or any other regulated healthcare profession.
2. No medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
Nothing provided before, during, or after a consultation constitutes medical diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or a medical recommendation.
Surgical suitability, candidacy, risk profile, and treatment decisions must be assessed in person by an appropriately qualified and licensed healthcare professional who has examined you.
You should never delay, avoid, or disregard professional medical advice because of information obtained through Dark Aesthetics.
3. No surgeon relationship or referral guarantee
Dark Aesthetics does not perform procedures, does not employ surgeons, and does not act as an agent for any clinic or practitioner.
Any surgeon, clinic, or practitioner mentioned is discussed for research purposes only. You are solely responsible for verifying credentials, licensure, and outcomes independently.
4. Client responsibilities
You confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into this agreement, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You agree to provide accurate information and to use consultation materials only for your own personal research and planning.
You accept full responsibility for any decision you make, including any decision to pursue or decline a procedure.
5. Health and safety
Consultations are not a crisis, psychiatric, or body-dysmorphia service. If you are experiencing distress relating to your appearance or mental health, contact a licensed clinician or local emergency services.
Dark Aesthetics may decline or end a consultation where a session is not an appropriate or safe use of the service.
6. Privacy and data handling
Scheduling is operated by Calendly. The information you enter into the scheduler — name, email, time zone, and any notes you choose to provide — is processed by Calendly under its own privacy policy.
You should not submit detailed medical records, diagnoses, or sensitive health information at the booking stage. Only supply what is needed to hold the appointment.
Your Dark Aesthetics research workspace (goals, plan, questions) is stored locally on your own device unless you explicitly choose to sync it in the future.
7. Booking, payment, and cancellation
Consultation fees, durations, and availability are shown at the point of booking and may change over time.
Rescheduling and cancellation are handled through the links in your Calendly confirmation email, subject to the notice period displayed for your consultation type.
Missed appointments without notice may be treated as completed sessions.
8. Intellectual property
Materials, frameworks, checklists, and written outputs provided by Dark Aesthetics are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use and may not be resold or redistributed.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dark Aesthetics is not liable for any outcome, cost, complication, or loss arising from procedures, practitioners, or decisions related to information discussed during a consultation.
Total liability in connection with a consultation is limited to the fee paid for that consultation.
10. Client acknowledgement
By accepting these terms you confirm that you have read and understood them, that you understand consultations are educational and informational in nature, and that you will seek assessment from a qualified healthcare professional before making any treatment decision.
Your acceptance is recorded with a timestamp and terms version alongside your booking information.
This agreement is provided as a clear statement of how the service works. It is not legal advice, and it should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer in your operating jurisdiction before commercial use.
